This is probably one of Jeff Anderson’s better novels about self defense and survival. It does have many effective techniques that can prove to be very helpful in a dangerous and crowded situation. Many of this can be found on the internet with some extra research, if you are concerned about surviving something like this. However, ‘Social Chaos Survival Guide’ book doesn’t really offer any amazing information that can’t be found anywhere else. The good news is that you can find it all within one manual, but for a very hefty price. It boils down to whether you want to spend the time on the research or spend the money on the answers.

He’s an instructor, protection specialist, and a professional. However, during this book; he appeals to the mass as a loving father and devoted husband that is only looking to protect his family. His goal is to use a scare tactic into persuading you to purchase Home Defense Tactics eBook which does work quite well. He gives worst case scenarios on what could happen as well as the intentions of most home invaders. But, he makes a great point; many criminals usually don’t resort to this method unless they are smart and have prior intentions. This is why you must protect yourself.

As for techniques and insight; he clearly knows exactly what he’s talking about. The question becomes whether the book portrays that to its maximum potential. The downfall of this book is that there seems to be an abundant amount of information on the attacker and horrible things that can happen, but little insight on how people have actually been able to survive. In other words; unless you have a handcuff key in your back pocket at all times, your efforts with be thwarted and unsuccessful. Is it a great book? Absolutely; if you haven’t a clue and don’t mind being scared to death with unbelievable horror stories that discuss rape, torture, and murder. This includes those that aren’t afraid to read about it throughout the entire book while learning a few defensive moves. In the end; you’ll either feel extremely scared or ready to battle Armageddon.
